Question:

Will the Stens 440417 Solid State Module fit the Briggs and Stratton Engine Model 170707-1231-01. The engine is approximately 40 years old and powers an International Harvester Cadet riding mower (also approx. 40 years old). I am trying to locate an ignition coil that will hold the engine's air guide similar to what the old ignition coil did. Based on the picture of the Stens module that was on line, it looks like it is similar to my old coil. Could the Stens module be returned if it can't hold the air guide? Thank you for your assistance.
