Regular Shipping Option

Orders are shipped using UPS GROUND, FedEx Ground, or USPS Parcel/Global Service; tell us how to send if you need faster service. Note:Faster shipping is just that; it will only reduce the shipping time. See below.

Shipping

Prices may vary by shipping location and service selected when you check out.

2nd Day and Overnight orders must be placed by 3pm EST for same day shipping. Orders placed after 3pm will ship on the next business day. Additionally, 2nd Day and Overnight deliveries will not occur on weekends.

Want to know where your order is?

Click HERE to find shipping information about an existing order. Using your confirmation number or your customer number you can now find out approximately when your order will arrive. Please note that some orders may not be available for tracking through the website due to the method of shipping, weight of item and/or price of order. As always you can Contact Us and we will try and assist you with your order.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information and order processing information to be available AFTER you have received your confirmation e-mail that your order has been shipped. Orders could possibly be shipped from multiple locations.

Express Delivery

Available upon request please call to see if product is in stock!

Upgrading to Second Day Air does not change how long it takes us to ship products. It only reduces the travel time after leaving our warehouse. For example: an out of stock part might take two or more days to leave our warehouse, but then would be guaranteed (by Shipper) to arrive in two business days.

Truck Freight Shipments

Items too heavy or too large for standard ground shipments will be shipped by truck. Please call us for a freight quote. The usual shipping charge for freight service runs between $50 and $75 dollars. Include your daytime phone number on the order form so the carrier can schedule merchandise delivery to be made when you will have unloading help on hand. Always better if you can arrange drop off at a commercial location. (Truck freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional lift gate charge may apply if the driver unloads the merchandise.) JACKS WILL CONTACT YOU WITH FREIGHT EXPENSE.

International USPS

Jacks is a USPS International Freight and Express shipper. Rates will vary depending on weight and country. Jacks Small Engines is not responsible for any duty or taxes leveyed by receiving country. It the sole responsibility of the receiving party to pay any such charges.

NOTE: We cannot ship WHOLEGOODS(i.e. Chain Saws, Lawn Mowers, Engines, etc) internationally. Please contact us for more information on how we can help you.

Back Orders

Most parts are in stock or available in 1-2 business days. Some parts, special order parts not listed by picture on our web site, may take longer. We have set up very efficient suppliers and if your local dealer says it is not available for a extended period, check with us. Usually we can get parts faster because of our huge buying power!

Special Orders

Special Order parts that are not in Stock can take approximately 1 - 2 weeks to get in. Because it is a Special Order, your credit card will be charged at the time of the order.

Returns

Return Policies

These are Jackssmallengines.com's Standard Return Policies applicable only to products purchased by you directly from Jackssmallengines.com

You have 365 days from the date you placed your order to return a product. We have listed the necessary steps to do so below.

• All products returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please E-Mail our Customer Service Department to obtain a RMA number.
• Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost if received by us:
  • Any product not purchased from Jackssmallengines.com.
  • Any product that has been installed or used (see Manufacturer's Warranties below).
  • Any product that is returned without all of the original packaging and accessories, including the retail box and all other items originally included with the product.
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage.

Please Note: Any product returned to Jacks Small Engines must be new, unused, complete, and marked with a valid RMA number. Anything else will not be accepted and will be shipped back to you.

No Restocking Fees

We will not charge a restocking fee for products returned. Please note — you are responsible for return shipping and handling costs. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Engines are sold as final sale (not returnable). Please allow a customer service representative to assist you in this kind of purchase in order to guarantee that you are receiving the correct product.

Decks

Decks are sold as final sale (not returnable). Please allow a customer service representative to assist you in this kind of purchase in order to guarantee that you are receiving the correct product.

Refunds

According to U.S. law, refund credits can only be returned back to the card of original purchase. In the event that a card can no longer be charged back (lost card etc.) an attempt on our part has to be made at least once and then a company check will be sent to the purchaser. The company check process can delay the time taken to receive the refund.

Shipping or Website Errors

Should the customer receive product not expressly ordered either by our shipping error or incorrect website information, the product will be picked up by our shipper and replacements shipped at no additional charge

About Warranties

Jackssmallengines.com believes customer service is the most important part of the sale.  Jackssmallengines.com strives to provide the best quality products, but from time to time a product might not perform to manufacturers specifications.  Please take a moment to review our warranty policy below.

Manufactures Warranties

All products sold by jackssmallengines.com have a manufacturer warranty.  Please be aware that warranties from defect are provided strictly through the manufacturer.  If your part is eligible for a warranty claim, our customer service staff will get information from you to process your claim and will provide instructions for you as well as a Warranty Authorized Return number to be able to return the defective part. If you believe you have a defective product please contact customer service so we can assist you.

Engine Powered Equipment

If the product has been gassed or oiled, it needs to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. Please contact customer service to assist you in finding the nearest authorized service center to assist you.

There are several ways to find parts on our website, depending on how much information you have.

3. For parts lookup for your specific equipment and engine model, use our parts lookup page!
   a) To use the lookup, you will need your equipment and/or engine model number.
   IMPORTANT: Your engine will have a different model number than the equipment it is on, so make sure you have the engine model number also if you need engine parts. For help finding where your model number is located, click here for our model locator.

4. b) Then go to the parts lookup and select your manufacturer, type of equipment and model to get parts breakdown images and order from that page.
   

FAQ

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please E-Mail our Customer Service Department. Unless the order is a special order item or the product has already shipped, your order will be cancelled without penalty. If your order is for a special order item, we will have to verify with the manufacturer that the order can be cancelled. If your order has already shipped, you will have to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) by contacting customer service. You will be responsible for returning the shipment. There will be no reimbursement for shipping & handling charges.

With your order you may also pay by personal check or money order, but the order can not ship until the check or money order clears (which usually takes about 5-10 business days). The exception is postal money orders, which are treated the same as cash.

Jacks accepts purchase orders from governments and educational facilities. You must fax all purchase order requests to (410) 638-5020. No purchase order will be accepted without fax. Please use the following check list to help identify the information that must be on the purchase order.

Local Retail Store

Jack's Small Engine has a retail store located in Jarrettsville, MD. Our local store includes a full repair service shop of small engines and small engine powered equipment. Jacks can provide parts sales and service for most major brands of outdoor power equipment including, tractors, lawnmowers, generators and commercial power equipment (gasoline or propane(lpg) fueled).
