I have been impatiently waiting to get a chance to thank Jacks for their impeccable service, not only do they sell outstanding products but the service can not be beaten, the post office some how lost this carburetor and yet claimed it was delivered. I notified Jacks via email and tried to put in a missing mail claim but the post office said I could not because it was "delivered". I assumed I would have to purchase another, the next day I received an email that I would absolutely not have to purchase another and my new carburetor was already on it's way later that evening it showed up via ups. I cannot say THANK YOU enough for the easy order of the most outstanding trimmer I have ever owned. I don't keep trimmers long. They are known as "disposable" in my house because I kill them quite quickly. I have a walk-behind trimmer that I use at our farm, but it is a bit bulky for the yard in town, so I stick with hand-helds. Your sale and free shipping of a higher grade, more industrial model made me go ahead and step things up beyond what I would normally purchase. I live part year in New Zealand and have ordered parts from you for my ride on mower several times. Previously, I had these parts shipped to my US address and carried them back in my luggage. I just had to order a new transaxle for my mower and once again turned to Jack's. I am having this shipped over. Thanks to Butch we finally have it ordered and on its way.

You have a great company and web site and I think you could greatly increase your business overseas if you streamlined your overseas freight system. These parts are 2-3 times as expensive overseas which you could easily capatilize on. Just a suggestion.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with the SDR0291 you sold me. (It's a replacement starter & solenoid for the Kohler engine on my Craftsman 5000 mower.) The unit was installed today and the mower started up in about 15 seconds after not having been run in over a year. The only differences between the SDR0291 and the original equipment is the replacement was made in China while the original equipment came from Korea and I had to add a small electrical connector to the small bolt on the bottom of the solenoid. In other words, the installation was a piece of cake.

So far, Jacks has been the best for getting factory parts. Even with 2 parts out of stock, I still got my order in less than a week.

I've gotten parts from you in the past and was impressed with the depth of your knowledge on small engines in general. I have a project coming up that perhaps you can either help with or direct me to other suppliers. I am going to need to make a small electric generator, small as in maybe fit into a motorcycle sized saddle bag space. Fuel can be external to that spacing. In the past I had thought I'd see some 2-stroke driven camping type generators designed for travel in canoes of this size. Also remembering some supplier from my youth in the Mid West that had pulse-jet driven ones of that same ilk.
Do you folks know of any such existing designs or products that would fit this bill?
