Review:

Our old gas cap's interior lining started to disintegrate, and pieces were threatening to dislodge into the engine. So, we needed a new one. The correct model and fit weren't easy to find, until I discovered it on Jacks Small Engines site. I was a bit concerned, because it didn't look the same as the OEM version, but it did fit. Now that mowing season has begun (April/May for Colorado), I've been able to put it to the test and everything's working as it should. Thanks, Jacks, for a great replacement at a reasonable price.

Review:

Kohler apparently used multiple fuel tanks with various types of caps. Mine has two locking lugs while a newer model has a threaded cap. I've found at least three different parts numbers for the gas cap #22711, #22714 and #22718. Diagrams are not detailed enough to easily determine which cap is which though I believe the #22718 is the cap for the older model tank with locking lugs.
