It works but it is backwards: the connectors force the switch to be mounted upside down. The I/O positions are reversed. The case of the saw show "I" in the forward position, but the "O" is forward on the switch. If I try to mount it with "I" forward the electrical connectors cannot slide on; the case is in the way.
