Review:

The capacitor, stands onehalf inch taller than the OEM one thatwas built into the board. This results in having to chop a hole out and then seal it in such a fashion as to prevent weather issues as well as dirt etc. Taking the time and effort to locate the correct cap, which is the same height as the OEM one, I have de-soldered that and installed the correct height capacitor. It would behoove you to inform the maker of these boards that the correct height cap IS in fact available ,Mouser Electronics, Digi-Key et.al. , and to make the shift to build these to spec instead of having the customer doing something twice. Shipping time is excellent. Hence my4stars and not 5.

Item performs as expected. Because the generator I have is a older model, the capacitor is longer then the old one and had to cut a hole in the back plate for it to fit.

I give it 5 stars because it works. I had to cut a hole in the endcap to accommodate this part, but that's all well and fine. Most of the rest of the parts for this decade-old low-hour Husky generator are obsolete.

Review:

This board and a set of brushes got my Coleman generator making electricity again. New board transistor is taller than original so had to drill a 1” inch hole in plastic cowling with a spade bit for it fit and get cowling back on properly. Glued plastic bottle cap over transistor to keep water out. Entire process took about 15 minutes. Hope generator runs another 5 years!
