This is not an OEM replacement part for my 1990 engine, but unfortunately nobody makes the part I need. The directions that came with the kit specifically stated to not use any gasket sealer, but the included gasket didn't seal and leaked after I initially installed it. I removed the gasket and created a new RTV gasket seal and now it works with no leaks. If this is an OEM replacement part for your engine it will probably work just fine, but I would definitely consider using gasket sealer.

Review:

These start to leak when the engine gets older. No kind of sealing product will replace the original seal system. This original equipment, new valve cover kit includes everything, is inexpensive and takes a few minutes to install. PLus it looks spiffy.
