Question:
I have just bought a new Husqvarna 128RJ trimmer (which I may return).
Can I use your part number 578442501 "steel wood cutting blade" on this machine?
This blade is shown as 8" x 1" which will fit this machine, but does the machine have adequate power to cut saplings up to 1-1/2 diameter using this blade?
Answer:
The RJ trimmer is designed more for heavier grass/brush use, rather than woodcutting. If you're looking to use a woodcutting blade, I'd recommend at least the
Husqvarna 336 FR or
Husqvarna 345 FR.
