Replacing the Air Filter on a Husqvarna String Trimmer

Replacing a dirty air filter will help prevent dust, dirt and debris from entering the carburetor and the internal parts of your engine to prolong the life of your engine. This video shows you how to easily replace your dirty air filter with a new one.

Step 1:

Disconnect the spark plug wire

Step 2:

Locate the air filter on the side of the string trimmer

Step 3:

Unscrew the knob to remove the cover

Step 4:

Remove old air filter

Step 5:

Install new air filter by pressing it into the air filter housing

Step 6:

Re-attach and secure the air filter cover

Step 7:

Reconnect the spark plug wire
