Starting
- Step 1: Turn the fuel valve until it is in the ON position.
- Step 2: Pull the blade control lever back and press it against the handlebar.
- Step 3: Begin pulling the starter grip slowly until you start to feel tension. As soon as you feel this, pull quickly. Then, gently return the grip.
- Step 4: Keep holding the blade control lever against the handlebar. If you release it, the engine will stop.
Stopping
- Step 1: Release the blade control lever from the handlebar and the engine will stop.
- Step 2: Turn the fuel valve off when you are finished mowing.
- Step 3: Clean and maintain your mower before preparing it for either short or long term storage.
