How to Replace the Wheels on a Toro Walk Behind Lawn Mower

If the wheels on your mower get cracked or broken you will promptly need to replace them to be sure that your mower functions properly!

Changing the wheels is easy, here’s how to do it!

Step 1:

Be sure the mower is completely cool

Step 2:

Disconnect the spark plug boot/wire

Step 3:

Lift the mower and support it with a block of wood or other solid object that will be able to support the weight of the mower

Step 4:

Use a socket wrench to remove the bolt in the wheel you want to replace

Step 5:

Insert the bolt and the washer into the new wheel

Step 6:

Line the bolt up with where the wheel gets mounted

Step 7:

Thread the bolt by hand, and then tighten it with a socket wrench

Step 8:

Be sue that the wheel is able to spin freely and does not wobble

Step 9:

Remove the item you have holding your mower up and reconnect the spark plug wire

Now you are an expert at changing the wheels on your mower!
Be sure you keep up with checking them for any damage!
