Changing the Spark Plug on a RedMax Chainsaw

Changing the spark plug will increase the efficiency and extend the life of your engine. This video shows you how to easily replace your dirty spark plug with a new one.
Step 1:
Set the chain brake by pressing it forward and remove the top cover of the chainsaw
Step 2:
Disconnect the spark plug boot and use the spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug
Step 3:
Refer to the owner’s manual for the correct gap for the new spark plug
Step 4:
Thread the new spark plug into the cylinder head and then tighten with the wrench, do not over tighten the spark plug
Step 5:
Reconnect the spark plug boot and replace the top cover
