Changing the Spark Plug on a Generac Portable Generator

Changing your spark plug will increase the efficiency and extend the life of your engine. This video shows you how to easily replace your dirty spark plug with a new one.
Step 1:
Make sure the power switch is off and all of the cords are unplugged
Step 2:
Remove the spark plug boot and then remove the spark plug using a socket wrench
Step 3:
Thread the new spark plug into the spark plug housing by hand, and then tighten with the socket wrench, be sure not to over tighten
Step 4:
Replace the spark plug boot
