Replacing the Air Filter on a RedMax Chainsaw

Watch our video on how to replace the air filter on a RedMax chainsaw.

Replacing a dirty or damaged air filter will prevent dust, dirt and debris from entering the carburetor and internal parts of your engine.
This video shows you how to easily replace your dirty air filter with a new one.

Step 1:

Set the chain brake by pressing forward

Step 2:

Remove the top cover to gain access to the air filter

Step 3:

Disconnect the spark plug boot

Step 4:

Remove the air filter and place t the new or cleaned air filter into the base

Step 5:

Reconnect the spark plug boot and re-attach the cover
