Jack's gives back to the community during the holidays by sponsoring a local family
Jarrettsville, MD – January 4, 2012 – Many families across the nation face financial hardship and it only gets tougher when the winter hits.
It is times like these when giving back becomes even more important. This past December 2011, Jack's Small Engines sponsored a local family in need for Christmas.
Thanks to the generosity of the Jack's employees, the 4 children (ages 5, 7, 8, and 15 months) were able to have a memorable Christmas.
The parents were also able to open their own gifts thanks to donations.
To make the holiday complete, Jack's also provided a feast of a meal that included ham, vegetables, rolls, and dessert.
The sponsored family was extremely appreciative when the presents were dropped off.
The easy-bake oven and play kitchen were a huge hit with the kids. They were looking forward to wrapping the gifts in the 2 large packing boxes from Santa.
Donations of hats, gloves, and clothing were also accepted gratefully. They would keep the ever-growing children warm and toasty throughout the coming winter.
Jack's has participated in community outreach in the past and plans to continue to do so in the future.
These plans include sponsoring families for the holidays, school supply drives, and canned food collection.
