Side-To-Side Leveling
Step 1:

Step 2:
Turn the wheels of your mower so they are facing straight forward.
Step 3:
Place the mower in mid cut position.
Step 4:
Arrange the outside mower blades so that they are pointing side-to-side.
Step 5:
Measure the distance between the outside tips of each blade and the ground.
- If there is more than 1/8” (3mm) difference between the measurements on each side, continue reading.
- If the difference is 1/8” (3mm) or less, please skip down to Front-To-Back Leveling.
Step 6:
Loosen the outside nut
Step 7:
Turn the eccentric nut to raise or lower the left hand side of the mower.
Step 8:
Once the mower is level hold the eccentric nut while tightening the outside nut.
NOTE: When using a turbo collection system, raise the discharge side of the mower approximately ¼”(6mm) to compensate for turbo assembly weight. Check the level of the cut grass and adjust the ¼” (6mm) measurement as necessary for a smooth, even cut.
Front-To-Back Leveling
Step 1:
Arrange the blades so the face front-to-back.
Step 2:
Measure the distance from the ground to the front tip of the center blade, and from the ground to the rear tips of left hand and right hand blades.
Step 3:
The front tip of the center blade should be ¼” (6mm) higher than the rear tips of left hand and right hand blades, if they are not, please continue on with the next steps.
Step 4:
- To raise the front of the mower deck, loosen the front nut and turn the rear nut against the bracket.
- To lower the front of the mower deck, loosen the rear nut and the bracket will move backwards to lengthen the rod.
Step 5:
Re-Check the blade measurement.
Step 6:
Tighten the front nut against the bracket to secure.
Leveling your mower deck is a good way to improve the quality of the cut your lawn will get, it takes a little effort, but the result is well worth it!
